Hong Kong is a rare place on Chinese soil where there can be an annual mass Tiananmen vigil.

But it's changing.

Activists say civil liberties have been curtailed, and Hong Kong legislators are considering a controversial bill that would allow extradition to the Mainland of individuals wanted for crimes there.

Earlier, I spoke with Hong Kong media mogul and democracy supporter Jimmy Lai about how the extradition bill is weighing on the city's annual Tiananmen vigil.

He says Hong Kong may turn into a "pit of hell" but he's not going away.
